Release notes for the React Native Turbo Headless SDK (headless-sdk-turborn), built as a TurboModule for the React Native New Architecture. It wraps the Android Headless SDK (otpless-headless-sdk) and iOS OtplessBM. Install the latest version from npm.

1.0.0 (28 September 2026)

Added

  • Opt-in SSL certificate pinning on both platforms: initialize(appId, loginUri, { sslPinning: 'enabled' }). Pinning is disabled by default, so existing initialize(appId) calls behave as before. A pin-validation failure returns a terminal FAILED response with error code 5004.
  • New exported types OtplessSslPinning and OtplessInitOptions.

Changed

  • Updated the native SDKs to Android 2.0.1 and iOS 3.0.1. Play Integrity attestation (Android) arrives with this update and needs no code change.
  • Android requirement: compileSdk 36 is now required. minSdk stays 24.

Fixed

  • Android: responses received before your callback was registered were delivered in reverse order; they’re now delivered in the order they arrived, as on iOS.
  • iOS: loginUri passed to initialize is now forwarded to the native SDK.
