Release notes for the React Native Headless Lite SDK (otpless-headless-rn-lite). On Android it wraps the Android Headless Lite SDK (otpless-headless-lite, phone authentication only); on iOS it uses OtplessBM. Install the latest version from npm.

2.1.0 (30 September 2026)

Added

  • Opt-in SSL certificate pinning on both platforms: initialize(appId, { sslPinning: 'enabled' }). Pinning is disabled by default. A pin-validation failure returns a terminal FAILED response with error code 5004. Combining sslPinning: 'enabled' with apiBaseUrl isn’t supported.
  • SIM binding (Android): checkSimBinding() returns true when the same SIM is still in the same slot on the same device, and clearSimBinding() removes the stored binding.
  • SIM binding monitor (Android): registerSimBindingMonitor(), unregisterSimBindingMonitor() and setSimBindingCallback(callback). The callback receives { state: 'ENABLED' | 'DISABLED' }.

Changed

  • Updated the native SDKs to Android Lite 2.2.0 and iOS 3.0.1.
  • initialize(appId, options) takes an options object (apiBaseUrl, sslPinning). A string passed as the second argument (the old loginUri) is ignored.

Notes

  • Version 2.0.0 was not published to npm; this is the first release after 1.2.0.

1.2.0 (14 August 2026)

Changed

  • Updated the iOS SDK to 2.4.0, which returns SNA error details in failure responses.

1.1.0 (9 July 2026)

Added

  • setMfaEnabled(enabled) for multi-factor authentication.
  • userAuthEvent(...) to report authentication events from your own auth providers.

Changed

  • Updated the native SDKs to Android Lite 1.3.1 and iOS 2.3.2.
  • Updated to React Native 0.76.9. Android compileSdk is now 36.

1.0.3 (26 June 2026)

Fixed

  • iOS: a crash when the app uses a scene delegate.

1.0.2 (6 February 2026)

Changed

  • Updated the native SDKs to Android Lite 1.0.3 and iOS 2.0.8 (fixes an actor concurrency issue).

1.0.1 (2 February 2026)

Changed

  • Updated the iOS SDK to 2.0.7, which enables SNA on Airtel and Vi.

1.0.0 (8 January 2026)

  • Initial release, with Android Lite 1.0.1 and iOS 2.0.3.
