Overview

The Webhook connector allows you to send user data to specified endpoints (URLs) every time a user logs in to your application via OTPLESS. This enables real-time data transfer to your chosen systems, facilitating seamless integration with your existing workflows.

Prerequisites

  • Access to the OTPLESS app for configuring the connector.
  • URLs of the endpoints where you want to send the user information.

Activation Steps

  1. Log in to OTPLESS:
    • Open the OTPLESS app and log in with your credentials.
  2. Navigate to Connectors:
    • In the dashboard, go to the Connectors section.
  3. Choose Webhook Connector:
    • From the list of available connectors, select “Webhook.”
  4. Activate Connector:
    • Click “Activate” to add the Webhook connector to your list of active connectors.

Connector Configuration

  1. Add URLs:
    • In the Webhook connector settings, enter the URLs where you want to send the user information.
    • If you need to add more URLs, click the plus icon (+) to add additional URL fields.
    • We will send Webhooks to all the URLs you have added.
  2. Save Configuration:
    • After adding the URLs, click “Save” to finalize the setup.

Connector Testing

  1. Verify Webhook Delivery:
    • Log in to your app/website using OTPLESS to trigger the Webhook.
    • Check the specified endpoints to verify that the user information has been received correctly.
  2. Check Logs:
    • Monitor the logs in OTPLESS and at the receiving endpoints for any errors or issues with the Webhook delivery.

Troubleshooting

  • URL Issues:
    • Ensure the URLs are correctly entered and accessible.
    • Verify that the receiving endpoints are set up to accept and process the Webhook data.
  • Webhook Delivery Problems:
    • Check if there are any network issues or firewalls blocking the Webhooks.
    • Ensure that the receiving endpoints are not rate-limited or otherwise restricted.
  • Configuration Errors:
    • Double-check all configuration settings in OTPLESS.
    • Refer to the documentation of your receiving systems for additional troubleshooting tips.
